Handling & mapping processes

Sometimes services are simple and self explaining. Sometimes a lot more processing work needs to be done before the service will be efficient for the user.

One example is our ePetitioning system - technically fairly uncomplex, but what about the internal processes? Who is responsible for what in the communication? What about the internal routines to handle all incoming petitions? And who has the total responsibility? The politicians or officials?

I this particular case we have prepared the groundwork for a "mapping" worskhop. We use it as a start in the implementation process and it clarifys a number of points that could have messed up things.
